GET THE FOLDING MACHINE PARTS YOU NEED TO CHANGE OUR YOUR ROLLERS

Make your folding machine *like new* by getting all the parts needed for roller change-out, including bearings, couplers, brass blocks and washers. Replace all bearings and add at least two or three roller packs to your recovery, roller exchange, or new roller order, as rollers in the first two or three positions will see the most wear on these parts. Don’t run the risk of destroying the roller if the bearings seize up by running old bearings.

MBO ROLLER PACK

Include roller packs in your order. The MBO roller pack includes one coupling, two bushings, two small brass blocks, and two spring washers. MBO bearings are installed on ALL roller orders.

Coupler: If you can rotate a roller more than 1/8″ when it is in the stationary mode (not moving), the coupler needs to be replaced. Test roller and coupler separately.
Square Brass Blocks: If you cannot adjust the roller to accommodate varying thicknesses of paper without problems, or adjustments take longer than normal, then your brass blocks are worn and need replacing. Tip: the brass blocks can be turned over and reused before replacing.
Hanger Bushings: If the roller hanger can be moved sideways more than .03″, then the liner bushing needs to be replaced.
Bearing Spring Washers: These ensure that the the rollers stay in position from side to side and should be replaced during change-out.

Include roller packs in your order. The Stahl roller pack includes two one-piece bearings, two spring washers, one hanger washer, four hanger bushings, and two hanger spacer washers.

Hanger Bushings: If the roller hanger can be moved sideways more than .03″, then the liner bushing needs to be replaced.
Hanger Washers (or Shims): These .003″ thick washers are necessary to prevent the hangers from rubbing on the folder’s frame (don’t use paper for this purpose).
Spring Washers: These ensure that the the rollers stay in position from side to side and should be replaced during change-out.
Bearings: Always replace the bearings during a change out by adding them to your order; avoid the risk of bearings seizing up and destroying the roller journal.
Bearing Spacer: To control end play.
